If you do not have one due to insufficient use or loss, etc., please apply for a certificate of vaccination for domestic use in Japan.

There are two types of vaccination certificates: “for overseas use” and “for domestic use”. Please select when applying.

If you have a smartphone that supports the My Number Card or the vaccination certificate app, you can immediately issue the vaccination certificate (electronic) by your own operation. Data can be saved and printed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide information from time to time about the countries and regions where the overseas vaccination certificate can be used and the mitigation measures.

The following people are not eligible

Those who received vaccinations abroad, etc. (those who received vaccinations not based on the Japanese Immunization Act).

• The following people cannot receive the issuance of the vaccination certificate (electronic). Of these, if you fall under 3, you need to apply to the municipality where the resident card is located as of the date of vaccination to correct the vaccination record.

• After receiving the vaccination certificate (electronic), please check the content of the certificate against the content of the vaccination certificate and vaccination record to confirm that there are no errors. If it turns out that there is an error in the contents of the vaccination certificate (electronic), it is necessary to apply for correction of the vaccination record to the local government where the resident card is located as of the date of vaccination.

• The content of the vaccination certificate is not automatically updated. In order to reflect the record of vaccination performed after issuing the vaccination certificate, it is necessary to operate "Reissue" within the app.
