The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has notified us of the extension of expiration dates for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
Vaccine expiry dates have been extended as follows:
In addition, the vaccine lot number sticker that is affixed at the time of vaccination may have the expiration date printed before the extension, but the expiration date of the vaccine has been extended, so please be aware that it is a valid deadline. Please rest assured.
Pfizer Vaccine Expiration Date
The shelf life of the vaccine when stored at -90°C to -60°C has been extended from 9 months to 12 months. Please see the PDF below for extended expiry dates for vaccines with expiry dates printed as 6 months and 9 months.

Moderna Vaccine Expiration Date
