* "Outbreak notification" is a notification submitted to the public health center by the medical institution that made the diagnosis based on the "Law Concerning Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Medical Care for Patients with Infectious Diseases (Infectious Diseases Law)".

(1) Toward the person targeted for report of outbreak

inpatient treatment

The elderly, those with chronic illnesses, those who are pregnant, those who have fever or respiratory symptoms, and those who are judged to require hospitalization depending on their circumstances will be hospitalized. The public health center will arrange transportation to and from the hospital.

Hospitalization becomes hospitalization recommendation based on Infectious Disease Law, and, as a general rule, public expense becomes burden about hospitalization charges, medical expenses. You will be responsible for the cost of renting hospital clothes used during your hospital stay.

About the end of medical treatment

The criteria for completion of medical treatment stipulated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare are as follows.

Even if there are family members living together who have different onset dates (specimen collection dates), treatment will be completed in order from those who meet the above criteria. It is not necessary to match the treatment end date of the person with the latest onset date.

In addition, even if a family member, etc. living together becomes positive during the medical treatment period, the person already receiving medical treatment will not become a close contact again.
