Basic infection prevention points
Practice cough etiquette and wash your hands frequently
When you cough or sneeze, use a mask, tissue, handkerchief, the sleeve of your clothes, or the inside of your elbow to cover your mouth and nose.
Keep social distance (appropriate distance)
Please keep a distance of about 2 meters (at least 1 meter) between people.
Let's avoid the 3 Cs
Avoid "closed spaces with poor ventilation", "crowded places" and "close-range conversations".
If unavoidable, ventilate the room, do not speak loudly, and avoid talking at a distance where you can touch your hands.
In addition, it is effective to prevent infection by keeping sufficient sleep and eating a well-balanced diet on a regular basis to improve immunity, and disinfection with alcohol disinfectant.
"Five situations" where the risk of infection increases
- Social gatherings that involve drinking alcohol, etc. Drinking reduces alertness and tends to raise your voice, so be careful.
- The risk of infection increases compared to a large number of people and eating and drinking for a long time and eating for a short time. Also, you need to be careful when eating and drinking with a large number of people, as they tend to be loud.
- The risk of infection such as conversation splash infection without a mask increases. You need to be careful even in the company such as cars and buses.
- Shared living in a small space Be careful as closed spaces such as dormitory rooms and toilets are shared.
- Change of place of residence When you change your place of residence, such as when you take a break from work, the risk of infection may increase due to looseness and changes in the environment. Be careful in rest rooms and smoking areas.

About physical condition management
In order to notice changes in your physical condition early, it is important to know your normal state.
- Body temperature Use a thermometer to know your normal temperature.
- Breathing Approximate resting breathing rate, breathing condition (easily breathing, shoulder breathing, large chest movement, whistling, wheezing, etc.). Normal and calm is about 12 to 18 beats per minute (in adults).
- Pulse Measure your resting pulse rate. You can easily measure your pulse rate by placing your finger or palm on your wrist, the base of your neck, or your left chest (where your heart is).
- Prepare a watch that can measure the second hand and keep it quiet.
- Place your finger (or the palm of your hand) where you can feel your pulse, such as your wrist or the base of your neck, and count your pulse for 15 seconds.
- Multiply that value by 4 to get your resting pulse rate per minute. Normal and calm is about 50 to 100 beats per minute (in adults).
- Keep your finger on it for a while and see if the pulse rhythm is regular.
