Due to the rapid spread of infection, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has eased the concentration of examinations and consultations at medical institutions, and is working to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus so that those with symptoms such as fever can receive appropriate health care services promptly. We distribute antigen qualitative test kits that have been approved as in-vitro diagnostic drugs to those who have symptoms that are suspected of being infected (symptomatic patients).

This test kit cannot be used to shorten the period of medical treatment.

It does not matter if you live in Tokyo (including long-term residents) and have any symptoms that you suspect of developing a new coronavirus infection, or if you are a close contact person.

・Applications can be made when symptoms such as fever appear (before visiting a medical institution).
・One person can apply for one kit per application, and one person can apply up to twice during the project implementation period.
However, when the number of applications reaches 70,000 kits per day, the reception on the day will end.

(1) Testing with this kit alone does not provide a definitive diagnosis.
(2) If you test positive at home using this kit, please register with the Tokyo Positive Person Registration Center. However, if the symptoms are serious or if you have an underlying disease (*1), please consult a medical institution.
(3) Save the test results as an image on a smartphone or other device.
・An image of the test results is required when registering at the positive person registration center.
・At the medical institution, at the discretion of the doctor, the test results from this kit may be used for a definitive diagnosis without performing another test at the time of consultation, so please be prepared to present it at the time of consultation.
(4) Even if the result is "negative", it does not deny the possibility of infection. Please continue to thoroughly implement infection control measures.

(*1) Underlying disease: Those who fall under (1) or (2) below
(1) Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, etc.), chronic kidney disease (those undergoing dialysis, etc.), diabetes, cardiovascular disease, immunosuppressants, anticancer drugs, etc.
