Preparations that can be made from now on in case of emergency
1. Please prepare a new corona antigen test kit
If you test negative for COVID-19, you may have seasonal flu. Prompt administration of anti-influenza virus drugs is effective for seasonal influenza. When you have symptoms such as fever and cough, you can use an antigen test kit that has been approved as a drug to test whether you are infected with the new coronavirus.
Keep an antigen test kit for the new coronavirus on hand so that you can get a diagnosis and the necessary treatment sooner. Prepare an antigen test kit labeled as "in vitro diagnostic drug " or " class 1 drug " (*approved by the government, not for "research use").
In addition, those who have symptoms suspected of being infected with the new coronavirus or those who have been in close contact with the new coronavirus can apply for the antigen qualitative test kit distribution project implemented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
2. Request for vaccination
Vaccines are effective in preventing the onset of symptoms such as aggravation and fever and cough. In addition to the new corona vaccine, please consider getting the seasonal flu vaccine.

3. Please always have over-the-counter antipyretic analgesics, etc.

Please use after confirming the usage and dosage. If you have any concerns, please consult a pharmacist at the time of purchase.
For a list of over-the-counter drugs that contain the same ingredients as those for medical use, please see the website of the Tokyo Pharmaceutical Association.
