(Reference) About coronavirus
A virus that causes widespread infections among humans and animals. Six viruses are known to cause infectious diseases in humans, but SARS-CoV (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus) and MERS-CoV (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) can cause severe respiratory illness. Other than coronavirus), infection is said to be limited to mild symptoms such as the common cold.
The Kita Ward Public Health Center will cooperate with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and medical institutions in the ward to respond and alert people who are suspected of being infected.
We would like to ask all residents to take the following precautions and remain calm.
Countermeasure points
○ Frequent hand washing with running water and soap. Wash your hands thoroughly, especially after going out, after coughing, and before touching your mouth, nose, eyes, etc.
○ When coughing, follow cough etiquette such as covering your mouth and nose with a tissue, wear a surgical mask to prevent infection to others, and avoid places where many people gather.
