○ What are sequelae?
After recovering from COVID-19, various symptoms may appear as post-infection symptoms (so-called "aftereffects").
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), “Anything seen in people with novel coronavirus that lasts for at least two months and is unexplained as a symptom of another disease (usually three months after the onset of COVID-19). )”, “There are symptoms that newly appear after recovery from the acute phase of COVID-19 and symptoms that persist from the acute phase. It may appear again."
○Symptoms
Symptoms include fatigue, loss of sense of smell and taste. Typical symptoms are:
Fatigue/Malaise, Arthralgia/Muscle pain, Cough, Sputum, Shortness of breath, Chest pain, Hair loss, Memory disorder, Loss of concentration,
Insomnia, headache, depression, olfactory disorder, taste disorder, palpitation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, sleep disorder, muscle weakness

In the follow-up survey of hospitalized patients, in the acute phase (from diagnosis to discharge), 3 months and 6 months after diagnosis, fatigue / malaise, suffocation, sleep disturbance, decline in thinking / concentration, Six months after diagnosis, more than 10% of all patients had post-infection symptoms, but many patients had improved symptoms.
