Stomach cancer screening (endoscopy)

Notice of end of examination

  • Cancer screening is for healthy people without symptoms. If you have symptoms or are already undergoing follow-up, see a doctor instead of a checkup.
  • Sedatives (drugs used during the examination while you are asleep) cannot be used for gastric cancer screening (endoscopy) in Itabashi Ward, based on national guidelines. Please note.
  • The Itabashi Ward gastric cancer screening (endoscopic examination) is a limited number of examinations, and there is a limit to the number of examinations that can be performed per day. In particular, near the end of the examination, the medical institution may be very crowded and you may not be able to see the doctor because the capacity has expired.

Stomach cancer screening (endoscopy)

We recommend regular check-ups

Regular checkups lead to early detection and early treatment of diseases such as cancer.
Refraining from receiving medical examinations due to concerns about infection with the new coronavirus infection may delay the discovery of the disease.
At medical institutions and venues where examinations are conducted, we are taking measures to prevent infection, such as disinfection and physical condition checks.
Get regular checkups to stay healthy.
