‣Regarding the items to be entered on the paper certificate of medical treatment (From the issue of May 31, the items to be entered will be changed as follows.)
According to the Life Insurance Association of Japan and the General Insurance Association of Japan, the period of accommodation or home medical treatment is within the period that conforms to the medical treatment cancellation criteria of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (e.g., 7 days if asymptomatic, 10 days if symptomatic). If so, payment will be based on proof of the start date of accommodation or home care, and we will not require proof of the end date of accommodation or home care. For this reason, if the end date of accommodation treatment or home treatment is within 10 days from the date of a positive diagnosis (the date a doctor diagnosed you with a new coronavirus infection), omit the “end date of treatment” entry. We are here.
The details of the items to be described are as follows.
- If the medical treatment period is within 10 days: Name, date of birth, name of injury or disease, date of diagnosis, name of public health center in charge, etc.
- If the medical treatment period exceeds 10 days: name, date of birth, name of injury or disease, date of diagnosis, date of completion of medical treatment, name of public health center in charge, etc. Changed to 7 days for symptoms. Please contact your insurance company for the required certificates.
