What is monkeypox
Monkeypox is a disease caused by the monkeypox virus.
Since May 2022, cases of infection have been reported mainly in Europe and the United States regarding monkeypox patients, which had been reported to occur mainly in the African continent.
symptoms
The incubation period is 5 to 21 days (usually 7 to 14 days).
Generally, symptoms such as fever, rash, and swollen lymph nodes are observed, but in many cases, they will resolve spontaneously within a few weeks. Other symptoms such as fever and headache may also occur.
Check for rashes, blisters, etc., regardless of the part of the body. (Pay particular attention to occurrences in the face, mouth, limbs, anus, genitals, and buttocks (buttocks).)
It can be difficult to distinguish from other rash-causing diseases, such as chickenpox.
Infection route
