Infection of new coronavirus among residents, users and staff of municipal special nursing homes [ascertained until May 12] May 13

Five staff members and seven day service users were infected with the new coronavirus from May 6th (Friday) to 11th (Wednesday) at the municipal special nursing home, and on May 12th (Thursday) they entered the facility. 7 people were found to be infected. All of the infected people are mild or asymptomatic, but seven of the residents are currently being adjusted for hospitalization. In addition, the Chuo Ward Public Health Center is proceeding with measures such as identifying close contacts.
In addition, as a measure to prevent the spread of infection, the use of new admissions (including short stays) and dementia day services will be suspended for the time being.
Regarding this matter, we have separately informed the users and their families.
