Pets and COVID-19

Requests to Owners

If you have pets, please note the following points.

  • When using alcohol disinfectant, please be careful not to let your pet lick the disinfectant.
  • If your pet seems to be unwell or accidentally ingested disinfectant, please see a veterinarian as soon as possible.
  • Let's decide where to leave your pet in case of emergency, such as family members and acquaintances. (If you can't find a place to leave your pet, consult with your veterinary hospital, etc.)
  • Avoid excessive contact with animals, and wash your hands thoroughly after touching animals.
  • First of all, it is important that the owner does not get infected with the new coronavirus. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is important to take care of your physical condition on a daily basis, such as getting good nutrition and sleep, improving your physical strength and immunity, and building resistance. If you feel unwell, do not go out and consult your family doctor as soon as possible. Also, in order to prevent infection in the home, let's try to wash hands frequently and ventilate.
