Women's welfare fund loan

We will lend the necessary funds for women to become economically and socially independent. One joint guarantor is required.

Please be sure to make a reservation by phone and consult with the welfare office.

Eligible person

A woman without a spouse who lives in Itabashi City and meets all of the following requirements:

  • Those who are 25 years old or older, or who are under the age of 25 and are supporting a direct relative or sibling
  • It is difficult to borrow similar funds from others

*Those who are supporting children under the age of 20 are eligible for the Mother and Child Welfare Fund.
*There are other requirements for each fund. Please contact us for more information.

  • Business start-up funds Funds needed for a woman to start a business
  • Business continuity fund Funds needed for women to continue their businesses
  • housing fund Funds needed to repair, preserve, or renovate houses occupied by women
  • skill acquisition fund Funds necessary for women or women's children to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to start a business or find employment
  • living expenses Funds necessary to sustain life while women acquire knowledge skills or receive medical care
  • study fund Funds necessary for a woman or her child to study at a high school, technical college, junior college, university, or vocational school
  • school preparation funds Funds necessary for a woman or her child to enter a high school, technical college, junior college, university, specialized training college, or miscellaneous school, etc.

We will review the lending. As a result, you may not be able to lend.

penalty

If repayment is not made by the specified date, a penalty of 10.75% per annum will be incurred on the principal.

Repayment method

You will be required to repay the loan in annual, half-yearly, or monthly installments in equal installments of principal and interest within the repayment period.

About the joint guarantor

One joint guarantor who meets all of the following requirements is required.

  • Have lived in Tokyo or nearby prefectures for more than 6 months
  • earn an independent living
  • You are not already a co-guarantor for this fund
  • You can guarantee your loan
