On December 7, 2020 (Wednesday), Chiyoda Ward, Hitachi Motor Transportation Co., Ltd. (6-11-22 Ayase, Adachi-ku / President Masakazu Sato (photo left)), Kirakuya Co., Ltd. In the event of a large-scale disaster such as an earthquake directly hitting the Tokyo metropolitan area, the city will set up emergency medical first-aid stations in areas close to six hospitals within approximately 72 hours immediately after the disaster. At the emergency medical relief station, triage and treatment of mildly ill patients are performed, and severely and moderately ill patients are transported to disaster base hospitals.

However, there were few vehicles for transportation of the sick and wounded among the vehicles owned by the ward, and it was difficult to respond quickly, which has been a problem so far.

Mayor Higuchi said, "While we are considering transporting the sick and injured in the event of a disaster, we believe that it is very meaningful to conclude an agreement with Hitachi Motor Transportation Co., Ltd. and Kirakuya Co., Ltd.
