1. Purpose
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Tuition Fund for Nursing (hereinafter referred to as “study fund”) lends (loans) tuition funds to those who are enrolled in a training facility for nurses, etc., and intend to engage in nursing work in Tokyo in the future. This is a system aimed at making it easier to study and securing nursing staff in Tokyo.
2. Overview
Lending qualification
- Enrolled in a training facility for public health nurses, midwives, nurses, and assistant nurses, or in a master's course at a graduate school. Those who are enrolled in a training facility outside Tokyo must have an address in Tokyo.
- Excellent grades and healthy mind and body
- Those who find it difficult to study for financial reasons
- Those who do not borrow the same type of study funds
- Those who intend to continue to engage in nursing work for 5 years or more at a designated facility (in Tokyo) or a facility in Tokyo after graduation or completion

- However, there is an overdue interest rate (3% overdue interest rate for returns after R4.4)

- If you fall under any of the following reasons for return, you will need to return the loaned amount by the following method.
- The monthly installment amount varies depending on the monthly loan amount, and is repaid within the specified period (repayment period).

If the following conditions are met, the refund will be deferred through the prescribed application procedure.
- Continuing to study at a training facility, etc.
- Going on to higher education
- Fail the test (up to 1 time)
- Designated Facility Engagement
- Engaged in facilities in Tokyo
- Unavoidable reasons (illness, childbirth, childcare, nursing care, etc.)
Exemption from return
- After graduating and obtaining a license, if you meet the following exemption conditions, you can apply for an exemption.
- The exemption amount varies depending on the exemption conditions (place of employment and number of years of employment) and monthly loan amount.
