Welfare equipment can be borrowed to help you become independent in your daily life.
In order to use it, it is necessary for the care manager to place the contents of welfare equipment rental required in the in-home service plan (care plan). Nursing-care insurance does not cover long-term care insurance unless it is included in an in-home service plan (care plan). Welfare equipment covered by long-term care insurance is as follows.

As a general rule, welfare equipment marked with * cannot be loaned to persons requiring nursing care level 1, support level 2, and those requiring support level 1, except in exceptional cases.
However, as for the 13th automatic excretion disposal device, in principle, it is not possible to lend it to those who are in need of care 3, 2, 1, 2, and 1 in need of care, except in exceptional cases. can not.

We will pay for the purchase of welfare equipment used for excretion and bathing that is not suitable for rental.

Those who are insured by long-term care insurance in Nakano Ward and meet the following conditions

  • Those certified as needing support 1, needing support 2, or needing long-term care 1-5
  • Those living at home (Purchased while hospitalized or entering a nursing care insurance facility are not eligible)

Notes

  • Welfare equipment purchased outside the validity period of the nursing care certification is not eligible for payment.
  • We cannot purchase thing becoming target article of welfare equipment loan.
  • Only when purchased at a designated registered welfare equipment sales store, it is eligible for payment. Products purchased through mail order (Internet, TV shopping programs, etc.) are not eligible. In addition, items purchased while hospitalized or admitted to a hospital or facility are not covered.
  • You cannot purchase the same item twice, but if it is damaged and cannot be repaired, or if there is a significant change in the level of nursing care required, it may be permitted as an exception. Please consult

Payment amount

Regardless of the degree of nursing care required, the maximum purchase cost is 100,000 yen (70,000 to 90,000 yen is paid) for one year (the period is one year from April 1 to March 31). After paying the full amount at the time of purchase, if you apply to the City along with a receipt, you will be refunded the amount excluding the 10% to 30% user burden. In addition, the burden ratio as of the receipt date when the user paid the welfare equipment sales office will be applied.

It takes about two months from the date of application until the money is actually transferred to the bank account.
