Subsidies for part of training course fees related to housework and childcare support projects

In Nakano Ward, as a postpartum housework and childcare support project and a multi-fetal family supporter project, “housework and childcare support supporters (postpartum doulas, etc.)” visit homes in Nakano City for families who are having trouble with daily life after childbirth. and assist with housework and childcare.

What is the Subsidy for Housework and Childcare Supporter Training Course?

In order to support the securing of human resources for housework and childcare supporters so that users of the postpartum housework and childcare support project and the multifetal family supporter project can receive sufficient support when they need it, the city holds a housework and childcare support supporter training course. Part of the tuition fee will be subsidized for those who have completed the course and are engaged in a business entrusted by the city.

Subsidized course

A course that corresponds to the qualification required by the business operator when working as a "housework and childcare supporter" for a business entrusted with postpartum housework and childcare support business.
The course for which we are recruiting this time is the "postpartum doula training course."

Subsidized person

A person who meets all of the following requirements

  • Completed and certified the “Postpartum Doula Training Course” held by the Doula Association in 2020, 3rd year, and 4th year of Reiwa.
  • Within two years after completing the course, you must be working as a postpartum doula at a company that undertakes postpartum housework and childcare support services.

Subsidy amount

1/2 of the course fee paid by the student or the subsidy upper limit of 200,000 yen, whichever is lower

Subsidized expenses

Tuition fee, teaching materials fee, practical training fee

Application flow

<Applicant>
1. If you wish to apply , please contact the Hokubu Sukoyaka Welfare Center before completing the course.
2. Nakano Ward asks the company to which Nakano Ward has entrusted the Nakano Ward postpartum housework and childcare support business to issue an employment certificate, etc. that proves the employment relationship.
Please submit the following documents to the ward together with the documents in 3.2.
・A document that shows the details of the course (a copy of the contents of the application guidelines, curriculum, etc.)
・Receipt certifying that you have paid the tuition fee for the training course and the payment amount

<Ward>
We will check the contents of the application documents and, if we decide to grant the grant, we will send you a notice of grant decision, an invoice, and the necessary documents for the transfer.

<Applicant>
Please fill in the necessary information on the invoice and the documents required for the transfer and submit them to the ward.

<Ward>
After confirming the contents of the submitted document, the grant will be transferred to the designated account.

  4. Employment certificate, etc. that proves the employment relationship with Nakano Ward postpartum housework and childcare support business contractor
  5. A copy of a receipt, etc. that proves the payment of the tuition fee for the training course
