Hello baby classroom (mother class) and papa mama class

In order to give birth to a healthy baby and raise your child with peace of mind, prepare for childbirth and create an image of your life with your baby. This class is for parents raising children for the first time. There is no cost.
Please join us when you are in good physical condition. (Guideline for attendance: mid-pregnancy)
Please note that in the event of a natural disaster or infectious disease, the event may be canceled in order to prioritize the safety of the residents.

To everyone participating in the class (about the new coronavirus)

・If you have a fever (a body temperature of 37.5°C or higher), or if you are in close contact with a person infected with the new coronavirus and are under health observation, you are waiting for the test results of the new coronavirus with your family members living together. Please refrain from participating if you are in the middle of the day.

・Those who have contracted COVID-19 within the past 1-2 months should wait until the symptoms have completely disappeared after completing the medical treatment period before participating. If you have any questions, please contact the Maternal and Child Health Section ( 03-3602-1387 ).

・Participants should measure their body temperature in advance, check their health condition, and wear a mask before participating.

・Please note that you may not be able to participate depending on the results of the health check performed on the day.

・ Maternal and child health handbook, childcare support guidebook, writing utensils, mom and dad class textbook (only for those who have them)

・ Please bring your own drinks, cushions, cushions, etc.

・ Please bring indoor slippers and bags for your shoes at Children's Future Plaza Kamakura (slippers are strictly prohibited for safety reasons)

・ Ventilate as a countermeasure against infectious diseases.

If you need it, please bring something that can control your body temperature, such as a jacket or throw.

Information on major services for pregnant women

The city conducts a "late pregnancy visit project" in which midwives or public health nurses visit homes and provide consultation on preparations necessary for childbirth and postpartum life, physical condition management, childcare, support services of the city, etc. .

If you wish to apply, please mail the “Late Pregnancy Visit Contact Form” (pink postcard) that was handed to you with the Maternal and Child Health Handbook by the 25th to 28th week of pregnancy, or call : 3602-1387) [Monday to Friday (excluding national holidays and year-end and New Year holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.].

In addition, the Tokyo Midwives Association is distributing various videos such as the content of mom and dad classes and body building (exercise) that can be done at home just before childbirth.
