Itabashi Ward National Health Insurance Prevention Project for Severe Hypertension
Since 2018, Itabashi Ward has been implementing a project to prevent the severity of hypertension among those who are enrolled in the Itabashi Ward National Health Insurance.
In this project, we will check the results of specific medical examinations and the status of consultation at medical institutions, and will send out a notice of recommendation to consult a medical institution to those who have not yet consulted a medical institution or who are considered to have been suspended from treatment.
In most cases, hypertension progresses asymptomatically, damaging blood vessels and increasing arteriosclerosis, increasing the risk of serious complications such as stroke, heart disease, and renal failure. In addition to seeing a medical institution, it is necessary to improve lifestyle habits to prevent serious complications.
