From April 2018, Minato Ward will provide subsidies to donors and the businesses where donors work in order to reduce the burden on bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell donors (donors) and promote transplantation and the expansion of donor registration. .

1. Donors of the bone marrow bank project implemented by the Japan Bone Marrow Bank (persons who have an address in Minato Ward during the outpatient/hospitalization period associated with the donation of bone marrow, etc.)
2. Offices in Japan where the above 1 donors (persons who have an address in Minato Ward during the period of hospitalization and hospitalization associated with donation of bone marrow, etc.) work (businesses run by the national government, local governments, independent administrative agencies, and donors themselves) except)

Subsidy amount

We will provide the following amounts according to the number of days required for hospital visits and hospitalization for bone marrow/peripheral blood stem cell donation (however, the total amount of donation is limited to 7 days per donation).

30,000 yen per day

(2) Offices where donors work

10,000 yen per day

<Outpatient/hospitalization eligible for subsidies>

1. Visiting a doctor for a health checkup
2. Outpatient visit for autologous blood collection
3. Hospitalization for collection of bone marrow, etc.
4. Other hospital visits, hospitalizations, and interviews required for acts deemed particularly necessary by the head of the ward

Application method

Please submit or mail the following documents to the Health Prevention Division of the Minato Public Health Center.

*Applications must be made within one year from the day following discharge from the hospital after being hospitalized to donate bone marrow, etc.

Notification of examination results
