Bone marrow transplant donor support project subsidy

There are 2,000 unrelated patients who require bone marrow transplantation or peripheral blood stem cell transplantation each year due to blood diseases such as leukemia. Also, since there is an age limit for donating bone marrow, it is necessary to increase the registration of younger donors. In order to increase the number of registered donors and save as many precious lives as possible, since April 2017, Shinjuku City has been providing subsidies to those who have completed the donation of bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cells.
