Osteoporosis preventive examination

If you are eligible for the 2021 osteoporosis preventive examination and have not yet undergone the examination in 2021, you can undergo the examination in 2022.
If you have a consultation ticket for 2021 at hand, you can use it as it is. If you do not have your ticket, please apply and we will reissue your ticket.

We recommend regular check-ups

Regular check-ups lead to early detection and early treatment of diseases.
Refraining from receiving medical examinations due to concerns about infection with the new coronavirus infection may delay the discovery of the disease.
At medical institutions and venues where examinations are conducted, we are taking measures to prevent infection, such as disinfection and physical condition checks.

45-year-old female ward resident (born between April 1, 1977 and March 31, 1978)
50-year-old female ward resident (born between April 1, 1972 and March 31, 1973)
55-year-old female ward resident (born between April 1, 1967 and March 31, 1968)
60-year-old female ward resident (born between April 1, 1962 and March 31, 1963)
65-year-old female ward resident (born between April 1, 1957 and March 31, 1958)
70-year-old female ward resident (born between April 1, 1952 and March 31, 1953)

  • Age is as of March 31, 2023.

The following persons are not eligible for the examination:

1 Those who have the opportunity to receive similar medical examinations through a health insurance association to which they are enrolled
2 Those who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis and are currently undergoing treatment or follow-up
3 Those who are pregnant or may be pregnant

Sending a consultation ticket

A ticket will be sent to those eligible at the end of April. No application is required.

  • When sending a ticket, Free consultation ticket for 70 years old, paid consultation ticket for those other than 70 years old is sent. If you fall under 2.3.4, you will need to apply for a free consultation ticket addressed to the Health Promotion Division before undergoing a medical examination.
  • Please note that we cannot refund any fees after the consultation.

Please be sure to receive an explanation of the examination results at the medical institution by the end of the month following the examination date.

In addition, if you receive a detailed examination based on the examination results, the city may receive information on the results of the detailed examination from the implementing agency. The results of medical examinations and detailed examinations will be used to improve the medical examination business and will be stored under appropriate management for five years. We ask that you give your consent before undergoing the examination.
  • If the result of the checkup is "requires a detailed examination," be sure to undergo a detailed examination.
