How to dispose of masks, tissues, etc.
Waste such as used masks and tissues at the time of the spread of new coronavirus infection,
- Do not touch garbage directly
- Firmly tie the mouth of the garbage bag and seal it.
- wash your hands after throwing away the garbage
Keep that in mind.
In addition to the above
- Let's remove the air from the garbage bag (to prevent it from bursting at the collection truck)
- Let's drain the raw garbage
- Let's keep garbage weight reduction in mind
- Let's check the separation and collection rules
*Masks and tissues cannot be disposed of as resources. (Even unused items cannot be taken out.)
Thank you for your cooperation in preventing the spread of infection.
How to throw away the test reagent kit for the new coronavirus
Due to the epidemic of the new coronavirus, reagent kits that can be used for PCR tests, antigen tests, and antibody tests at home are available on the market. Used kits (those made mainly of plastic and without needles) can be collected by the ward as burnable garbage, so please follow the instructions below when disposing of them.
* When disposing of kits with needles, please consult with the shop or manufacturer where you purchased them.
If the shop or manufacturer where you purchased them does not collect them, please contact the used needle collection pharmacy in the city.
- After use, put it in a plastic bag and store it for 4 days. (The virus attached to the surface of the object loses its infectivity over time. However, it is said that the infectivity lasts for 24 to 72 hours depending on the type of object on which it is attached.)
- After 4 days, dispose of as burnable garbage on the designated collection day.
