Based on the Immunization Act, the city provides influenza vaccinations to elderly people.
We sent "pre-examination vote, notice, list of medical institutions" to target person at the end of September.
Influenza epidemics are common from early winter to early spring. The period during which the vaccine maintains sufficient efficacy is about 5 months from 2 weeks after vaccination, so annual vaccination is recommended.
Note: In the "notice" sent to eligible people, there is a description about the vaccination interval with the new corona vaccine, but for influenza vaccination, the vaccination interval with the new corona vaccine will be changed. It is now possible to inoculate without setting. Please inoculate according to the instructions of the doctor.

• Residents of the city who are 65 years old or older (those born before January 1, 1958)
• 60 to 65 years old (those born between January 2, 1958 and January 1, 1963) with an internal disorder equivalent to level 1 in the physical disability certificate (heart, kidney, respiratory dysfunction, or human immunity) Residents of the city with immune dysfunction due to deficiency virus)

Note: Preliminary examination slips will be sent to those who turn 60 or 65 during the implementation period, but only those who received the vaccination after the day before their birthday are eligible.

Please fill in the necessary items on the “Elderly person influenza vaccination preliminary examination form” and receive vaccination at a medical institution in the city or each medical institution in the 22 wards other than Chuo Ward.

• Note 1: If you wish to be vaccinated in the 22 wards other than Chuo Ward, please contact the department in charge of vaccination in each ward or the desired medical institution.
• Note 2: Some medical institutions require appointments and have fixed days of the week for vaccinations, so please check with the medical institution in advance.
