2. Temporary pediatric clinics (face-to-face consultations) and online consultations by medical institutions supported by the ward

Please call your family doctor first.

In this winter, when there are concerns about the spread of the new coronavirus and the simultaneous epidemic of influenza, it is possible that local medical institutions, which are on the front lines of the field, will be as busy as during the spread of infection this summer, or even more. .
Based on this situation, in addition to the online medical treatment that has been carried out since August 2022 as a complement, the ward will conduct tests for the new coronavirus and influenza so that those who are at high risk of becoming seriously ill can visit a local medical institution. Based on the results, we will secure a system for conducting face-to-face and online medical examinations and issuing prescriptions for medicines.

Overview of simultaneous testing and medical care system for new coronavirus and influenza

(1) Pediatric Simultaneous Examination/Clinic (Face-to-Face Treatment) ("4-1" in the above diagram) (for children aged 15 and under)

We will set up a clinic exclusively for children, conduct simultaneous tests for COVID-19 and influenza, conduct face-to-face medical examinations at medical institutions, and issue drug prescriptions based on the medical examinations.

• System securing period: December 19, 2022 to the end of March 2023

*From December 19th (Monday) to the end of February, Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays are also available.

*Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays after March 1st (Wednesday)

• Maximum scheduled number of receptions for medical treatment per day:

We will set up a venue in the ward to conduct simultaneous tests for the new coronavirus and influenza, conduct online medical examinations by medical institutions at this venue or at home, and issue prescriptions for medicines based on the medical examinations.

• Maximum number of scheduled medical appointments per day: 40 cases at 1 location x 3 locations = 120 cases in total

Store the result photos of the new corona antigen qualitative test kit (excluding research use) that you have tested yourself in advance in a dedicated web form.

After that, medical institutions will conduct online medical examinations and issue prescriptions for medicines.

For those who do not have an antigen qualitative test kit and are about to be tested, we will also deliver it to your home (target: Setagaya-ku residents, online reservation required).

3. Tokyo Temporary Online Fever Medical Center

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has established the Tokyo Metropolitan Temporary Online Fever Medical Center, which provides online medical treatment for those who have a fever or other symptoms and wish to receive medical treatment or prescription medicine.

Those who meet all of the following requirements

• Must be a resident of Tokyo (limited to those who are in Tokyo at the time of the online consultation).
• Must be between 13 and 64 years of age (those with underlying medical conditions and those who are pregnant are not eligible).
• Self-examination with a new coronavirus test kit*.

• Suspicion of new coronavirus infection such as fever, influenza, etc.

*Limited to in-vitro diagnostic drugs or those approved by the government as over-the-counter drugs. "Research use" is excluded.
