About the Tokyo Positive Registration Center

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has established the Tokyo Positive Person Registration Center in order to alleviate the concentration of people visiting medical institutions for diagnosis and testing.

1 Overview

From September 26, 2020, the subjects of the notification of outbreaks were limited, and the subjects of the Tokyo Positive Person Registration Center have also been changed. We are accepting applications for those who are not eligible for notification of outbreak as follows.

(1) Those who tested positive with an antigen test kit at home or tested positive (including suspected positive) at a free PCR test site in Tokyo, applied online, and were diagnosed by a doctor based on that information. If the result is positive, it will be registered at the center.
(2) Those who have been diagnosed positive at a medical institution and wish to receive support from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will apply online and be registered as a positive person at the center.

After registration, you can receive support such as health observation by My HER-SYS, delivery of food and pulse oximeter, and medical treatment at accommodation facilities in Tokyo. In addition, the Tokyo Positive Person Registration Center does not submit an outbreak report or prescribe medicine.

2 target audience

Those who live in Tokyo (including long-term residents) and who are not subject to notification of outbreak, and who fall under (1) or (2) below

(Those who are not subject to notification of occurrence)
・Those who are under the age of 65 at the time of application to the center or when diagnosed by a doctor ・Those who do not require hospitalization ・Those who do not need corona treatment drugs or oxygen administration ・Those who are not pregnant

(1) Those who have tested positive (including suspected positives) with an antigen test kit (*1) themselves or at a free PCR test site in Tokyo (2) Those who have been diagnosed positive at a medical institution
(*1) Only those approved by the government as “in-vitro diagnostics” or “over-the-counter drugs” are excluded from “research use”.

Even those who have already been to a medical institution and have been confirmed to be positive, would like support such as health observation with My HER-SYS, delivery of food and pulse oximeters, and recuperation at accommodation facilities in Tokyo. If you do, you need to apply to the Tokyo Positive Person Registration Center. In addition, those who have passed the medical treatment period at the time of application are not eligible.
