In 2018, we expanded target person from October 29, 2018 in response to an increase in the number of reported cases of rubella outbreak in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
In addition, in April 2019, the "adult male rubella routine immunization project (antibody test and vaccination)" for adult men (men born between April 2, 1962 and April 1, 1979) was launched. started. Target audience
Those who meet all the conditions from [1] to [5] below
[1] Have a resident card in Itabashi Ward as of the date of the inspection
[2] No record of previous rubella antibody test
[3] No record of previous measles (including mixed rubella) vaccination
[4] Never had rubella in the past (proven by testing)
[5] Applicable to any of the following (1) to (3)
(1) Women between the ages of 19 and 49 who wish to become pregnant
(2) Partners of pregnant women or partners of women aged 19 to 49 who wish to become pregnant (both aged 19 and over)

A rubella antibody test is included in the test items of the prenatal checkup that pregnant people receive at a medical institution. If you have been pregnant in the past, you will usually receive an antibody test during your prenatal checkup.
In addition, those who have had a rubella antibody test in the past are not eligible for the subsidy, but those whose test results at that time showed a low antibody titer may be eligible for the rubella vaccination subsidy. See below for details.
