Precautions for vaccination

  • Parental consent is required for vaccination of children. No vaccination will be administered without parental consent.
    When receiving the vaccine, we ask that you have correct knowledge of both the effectiveness of preventing infectious diseases and the risk of side effects, and make decisions based on your parents' intentions. .
  • From September 6, 2022, the obligation to make efforts will be applied to children aged 5 to 11 years old, but vaccination should be done at the will of the individual and their guardians. There is no change.
  • Please consult your family doctor, etc. about the vaccination interval between the new corona vaccine and other vaccines. In principle, you cannot receive other vaccines at the same time or two weeks before or after (except for influenza vaccination).
  • If you have any questions or concerns about vaccines, such as when your child has an underlying disease, please consult your family doctor.
  • For those who will be 12 years old between the first and second doses, the same Pfizer vaccine (for ages 5 to 11) as the first dose will be used for the second dose.

Efficacy and safety (side effects)

In an analysis conducted after confirming the neutralizing antibody titer, it was reported that 90.7% of people who had no history of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed to have a preventive effect on the onset after 7 days after the second vaccination. It has been(※).

Third time

According to the results of clinical trials of the Pfizer vaccine conducted overseas, in a group with no history of infection, the neutralizing antibody titer against the conventional strain (strain before mutation) one month after the third vaccination was In addition, the neutralizing antibody titer against the Omicron strain one month after the third inoculation was compared to one month after the second inoculation. Safety (side effects)

1st and 2nd time

Pfizer's vaccines have been confirmed in clinical trials to cause various symptoms such as pain at the injection site, malaise, headache, fever, etc., just like those aged 12 and over, even if they are 5 to 11 years old.
