Target audience

People aged 12 and over who have received two doses of the new coronavirus vaccine

Inoculation time

If there is no same day in the month, you can inoculate from the 1st of the following month.

• From October 21 (Friday), the interval between conventional vaccines manufactured by Pfizer and Moderna will be 3 months.
  • Pfizer conventional vaccine: After 3 months from the date of the second dose
  • Moderna conventional vaccine: After 3 months from the date of the second dose

• Takeda Vaccine (Novavac) remains unchanged.
  • Takeda vaccine (Novavacs): 6 months or more after the second vaccination

Vaccination ticket (coupon)

We are planning to send it to the target person by the month before the month when the third dose can be inoculated.
As soon as you receive the vaccination ticket, you will be able to make a reservation or change the third vaccination.

Vaccine to inoculate

• 18 years old or older: "Moderna", "Takeda Vaccine (Novavac)" or "Pfizer" vaccine (Please check the link for the type of vaccine used.)
• 12 to 17 years old: “Pfizer” vaccine (From December 14, 2014, “Moderna” vaccine was also targeted for those aged 12 and over)

(Note) In the 1st and 2nd doses, about 20% of the inoculated residents received the "Moderna" vaccine, and about 80% received the "Pfizer" vaccine. For the third vaccination, 50% will be distributed from the national government to each local government, and it is expected that the "Pfizer vaccine" for the number of people who received the "Pfizer vaccine" in the first and second doses will not be distributed to the wards. .

Vaccination for 12-17 year olds

• The type of vaccine to be inoculated is made by Pfizer. (Since December 14, 2014, “Moderna” vaccines have also become eligible for people aged 12 and over.)
• If a person under the age of 16 is to be vaccinated, a guardian must sign the vaccination request form on the vaccination form . (Some of the "Vaccination notices" enclosed with the vaccination ticket state that you are under 15 years old, but the correct age is under 16.)
• Until the day before your 18th birthday, you will be vaccinated as a 12-17 year old, and after the day before your 18th birthday, you will be vaccinated as an 18-year-old or older.
• Vaccination tickets (coupons) are the same as those for those aged 18 and over.
