For men in their teens and 20s, although the frequency of myocarditis, etc., which develops as a complication of infection with the new coronavirus, occurs less frequently than with the Pfizer vaccine, it occurs after vaccination with the Takeda/Moderna vaccine. Since the incidence of myocarditis is high, the opinion was expressed that vaccination with Pfizer Inc.'s vaccine can also be selected.

Target audience

  • Those who have experienced serious side effects after the first vaccination and have been judged by a doctor to need a different vaccine.

  • Among those who received the first Moderna vaccine, males aged 29 or younger on the date of the second vaccination (e.g., males born after October 17, 1991 for October 15, 2021 vaccination)
