Business overview

In order to reduce the burden on bone marrow/peripheral blood stem cell donors (hereinafter referred to as "donors") and promote bone marrow transplantation/donor registration, Itabashi Ward provides financial incentives to donors and businesses where donors work. We carry out business from April 1, 2018.
Applications for issuance are accepted at the counter or by mail.
The purpose of this project is to increase the number of unrelated donors registered so that as many patients with blood diseases as leukemia, which are difficult to treat, can receive bone marrow donation. *Bone marrow donor registration to the bone marrow bank is done at any time at each blood donation room in Tokyo (03-5272-3528). Target audience

1. Those who live in the city, have completed the donation of bone marrow/peripheral blood stem cells in the bone marrow bank project implemented by the Japan Bone Marrow Bank, and have received a document certifying it. (Not applicable if donated without going through a bone marrow bank, such as between relatives)
2. Domestic offices and public interest incorporated foundations (excluding national and local governments and independent administrative agencies) where donors (excluding sole proprietors) work

Incentives will be paid according to the number of days required for hospital visits (examinations) and hospitalization. (*Up to 7 days in total.)

5. Documents that show the location of the place of business (company profile, certificate of registered matters, etc.)

2 Grant decision

The city will send a notification of grant decision or non-grant decision to the grant applicant.

3 Request for delivery

If it is decided that the scholarship will be granted, we will send you an invoice for the grant together with the notice of decision.
