How to see a doctor

Mammography (breast X-ray photography)

1. After applying for a consultation ticket to the ward, when the consultation ticket arrives, call the imaging medical institution and make a reservation for the shooting date and time.
2. Please undergo a mammography examination at a radiographic medical institution on the reserved consultation date and time.
   • In advance, please sign the consent column on the consultation ticket and fill out the necessary items on the questionnaire.
   • Please bring your consultation ticket and questionnaire, and pay the screening fee.
3. Notification of results will be mailed at a later date. It takes 3 to 4 weeks from the date of the mammography examination to the notification of results.
4. If the examination results indicate that a detailed examination is required, please receive an explanation of the results at a medical institution that explains the results.
   Result explanation At the medical institution, the doctor will explain the result face-to-face based on the result slip that arrived by mail.
   If necessary, you may be referred to another hospital for a thorough examination at your own hospital. If you want to make a detailed examination or referral letter, it will be covered by insurance and you will be charged.
