breast cancer screening
- Near the end of the examination period, medical institutions are very crowded and it is difficult to make an appointment. Please make an appointment and see a doctor as soon as possible.
- Cancer screening is for healthy people without symptoms. If you have symptoms or are already undergoing follow-up, see a doctor instead of a checkup.
We recommend regular check-ups
Regular checkups lead to early detection and early treatment of diseases such as cancer.
Refraining from receiving medical examinations due to concerns about infection with the new coronavirus infection may delay the discovery of the disease.
At medical institutions and venues where examinations are conducted, we are taking measures to prevent infection, such as disinfection and physical condition checks.
Get regular checkups to stay healthy.

- For mammography, 2-direction imaging is performed for those in their 40s, and 1-direction imaging is performed for those aged 50 and over.
- Mammography is an examination that uses a machine to compress the breast and take x-rays. Pain may be caused by pressure, but it is said that premenopausal women will experience less pain if they avoid the period of about one week before menstruation.
- Mammography uses x-rays only on the breast, so radiation exposure is considerably less than other exams.
Breast cancer can be detected to some extent by self-examination. It is not always possible to detect all cancers through screening alone, so it is recommended that you perform self-examination on a regular basis (about once a month).
Breast awareness is an important lifestyle habit for early detection of breast cancer
For early detection of breast cancer,
It is important to have a lifestyle that is conscious of the state of your breasts on a daily basis = "Breast Awareness"!
4 Points of "Breast Awareness"
1 Check your breasts on a regular basis to know the condition of your breasts and changes due to the menstrual cycle.
2 Watch out for changes in your breasts.
3 If you notice any worrisome changes, don't wait for a check-up and immediately visit a medical institution with a mammary gland outpatient clinic.
4. Even if you do not have any subjective symptoms, you should have a regular checkup once every two years from the age of 40.
