This allowance is provided to at-home disabled persons aged 20 or older who have two or more severe mental or physical disabilities (generally Grade 1 or 2 in the Physical Disability Certificate) and who always require special care in their daily lives.

Disabled Child Welfare Allowance
We provide at-home disabled children under the age of 20 who need constant care in their daily lives because they have severe mental or physical disabilities.

transitional welfare allowance
We pay to person who does not receive both special disability allowance and disability basic pension among conventional welfare allowance recipients. [Currently no new certifications]

Special Child Rearing Allowance
In order to stabilize the lives of children under the age of 20 who are mentally or physically disabled, this allowance is provided to guardians who are caring for children with disabilities at home.
■Monthly payment Level 1: 52,400 yen (from April 2022) Level 2: 34,900 yen (from April 2022)
□Payment month: 11th of April, 8th, and November every year for 4 months
Shizuoka City Severely Disabled Child Support Allowance
Provided to guardians raising children with disabilities under the age of 20 who fall under any of Grades 1 to 3 of the Physical Disability Certificate or Rehabilitation Certificate A.
■Monthly Allowance 3,000 yen *If Special Child Rearing Allowance is suspended due to income restrictions, 5,000 yen per month

Paid for 4 months on the 25th of March, July and November every year
*If the payment date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, the payment will be made on the business day immediately preceding the financial institution.
