As of July 12 (Tue)
The infection status of the new coronavirus in this prefecture and the medical emergency situation are national evaluation level 2 ( level at which vigilance should be strengthened ).
In this prefecture, the replacement of the Omicron strain derivative (BA.5) is progressing, and the number of new infected people is increasing rapidly, and there are concerns about the impact on the medical delivery system. It's a situation that needs vigilance to spread the infection .
Keeping in mind that the risk of infection increases when you take off your mask while talking, such as when eating and drinking , continue basic infection prevention measures such as wearing a non-woven mask when talking, avoiding close contact, and frequently ventilating . Please take thorough measures.
In particular, there will be more opportunities to go out, such as consecutive holidays and summer holidays, so before traveling or returning home, if possible, get the 3rd or 4th vaccination (elderly people, those with underlying diseases, etc.). Please consider.
In addition, since the severe heat continues and there are concerns about the risk of heat stroke, masks are not required outdoors unless you are talking to others nearby . Also, indoors, please turn on the air conditioner to prevent heatstroke, and when a large number of people gather , please thoroughly ventilate the room.

Requests to citizens and business operators
○ Keeping in mind that the risk of infection increases when you take off your mask while talking, such as when eating and drinking , continue basic measures to prevent infection, such as wearing a non-woven mask when talking, avoiding crowds, and ventilating frequently. Please take thorough preventive measures.
○ Regarding the wearing of non-woven masks, we ask that you wear a mask when talking indoors or on trains . On the other hand, "Masks are unnecessary outdoors unless they are talking nearby" and "Pre-school children, in principle, do not need masks" . At this time, do not force the person to put on or take off the mask against their will. Also, please always carry a mask.
○ At meetings involving eating and drinking, please refrain from talking while eating, and be sure to wear a non-woven mask when talking . Also, avoid singing out loud or wearing a mask .
○ When using restaurants and accommodation facilities, please use stores and facilities that have thorough infection prevention measures such as “Fuji no Kuni Safety and Security Certification”.
○If you receive a vaccination ticket from your municipality, please consider getting vaccinated. In particular, if you are planning to travel or return to your hometown, please consider vaccination before moving . In the age group where the third vaccination rate is high, the number of infected people is small, and the rate of severe illness in the elderly is decreasing, indicating the effectiveness of vaccination. In addition, it is possible to inoculate Novavax vaccine. Adverse reactions after the 3rd vaccination with Novavax tend to be fewer than with Pfizer and Moderna, so if you have refrained from taking the 3rd vaccination due to adverse reactions, please consider getting the Novavax vaccine.
At large-scale vaccination venues in the prefecture, those who have been inoculated for more than 6 months since their second vaccination can be vaccinated without a vaccination ticket . In addition, Novavax vaccination and the 4th dose (for those aged 60 or older who have passed 5 months or more since the 3rd dose and those aged 18 to 60 who have underlying diseases) are also being administered. For details, please check the prefecture website.
○ Business operators are requested to thoroughly implement infection prevention measures in accordance with industry-specific guidelines and the “Fuji no Kuni Safety and Security Certification System (restaurants and accommodations).”
○All event organizers are requested to thoroughly implement basic infection prevention measures, create a list of participants, and use the contact-confirming app “COCOA” to keep track of participants. Also, if you plan to hold an event with more than 5,000 participants and a capacity rate of more than 50%, please submit an “infection prevention and safety plan” that describes specific infection prevention measures to the prefecture.
○ All business operators should thoroughly implement basic infection prevention measures in the workplace, especially infection prevention measures for “switching where you are”, and efforts to reduce contact with people, such as working from home and staggered commuting hours. Please promote infection prevention measures.
○ At schools and nursery schools, etc., thorough infection prevention measures should be taken, and actions with a high risk of infection should be avoided. If staff members, children, students, etc. have any cold symptoms, they should consult a family doctor or a medical institution that treats fevers, etc. We ask for your cooperation in recommending prompt medical examination.
○ Business operators of welfare facilities, etc., are requested to cooperate in the early detection of positive patients by utilizing the simple antigen qualitative kits distributed by municipalities.
