“Medicine and Health Week” is an active enlightenment activity using posters and other means to make as many people as possible aware of the importance of the correct use of medicines and the importance of the role that pharmacists play in doing so. It's a week to do Do you have a correct understanding of the effects and side effects of the medicines you are using? If you use it incorrectly, it may not only be ineffective, but it may also harm your body. Find a family pharmacy that is easy to consult so that you can use your medicines with peace of mind.

The period is one week from October 17th to October 23rd every year.

Osaka Prefecture “Medicine and Health Week” Executive Committee (Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, Sakai City, Higashiosaka City, Takatsuki City, Toyonaka City, Hirakata City, Yao City, Neyagawa City, Suita City, Osaka Prefectural Pharmacist Association) Association) distributes medicine quizzes on medicine and health at related institutions such as city pharmacies. In addition, we have created a calendar to spread correct knowledge about the proper use of medicines and the role of pharmacists, so please make use of it.

On October 15, 2022, we held a medicine lecture to plan the spread and enlightenment of proper use of medicine for citizens. In addition, we held a course to learn correct health information and how to read advertisements. Please refer to the materials used in the course on advertising examples under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, the Health Promotion Act, and the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations.
