About ostomate-adaptive restroom information such as municipal facilities

We have compiled a map of information on ostomate-compatible toilets that anyone can use at municipal facilities and parks.

The same numbers are displayed on the list of facilities, etc. and the map, so please use them while referring to them.

What is an ostomate-compatible toilet?

An ostomate is a person who has a stoma (artificial anus or artificial bladder) created in the abdomen for excretion due to various illnesses or accidents. By wearing an ostomy appliance, an ostomate can lead a social life in the same way as before surgery.
An ostomate-compatible toilet is a toilet equipped with a function that makes it easy for an ostomate to dispose of excrement.

Creating a barrier-free map based on the Toyonaka City Barrier-Free Master Plan

Based on the deliberations of the Toyonaka City Barrier-Free Promotion Council, the Toyonaka City Barrier-Free Master Plan (policy to promote smooth movement) was formulated in March 2022. In the future, we will collect barrier-free information such as facilities and work on reviewing the map.
