What is Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (MTBI)?
A direct blow to the head, such as in a car accident, or a strong jolt can cause brain damage. Even if the impact is mild and CT scans show no abnormalities, severe or prolonged symptoms may appear after a few days or weeks, so caution is required.

- fall from height
- fall down
- sports injuries
- violence
- infant shaking
Main subjective symptoms
- Decreased memory, comprehension, attention/concentration, and emotional instability (higher brain dysfunction)
- Paroxysmal consciousness disorder (epileptic seizures)
- Poor limb movement, dull sensation in limbs (motor paralysis, sensory paralysis)
- No smell, hard to see, no taste, choked with water (cranial nerve palsy)
- Urinary and fecal output is different than before (sphincter disorder)
