Osaka City Asbestos Interpretation Accuracy Inspection Procedures for Designated Detailed Examination Medical Institutions
The city of Osaka has been entrusted by the Ministry of the Environment to provide asbestos to people who may have been exposed to asbestos in the past, in order to alleviate their concerns about health damage and to help them manage their own health. We are conducting a survey to ensure the accuracy of image interpretation.
If an asbestos-related disease is suspected as a result of the interpretation of the chest X-ray image of the person who participated in the survey, we will recommend them to undergo a detailed examination, and we will designate them as a medical institution for the detailed examination.
